Welcome everyone. This blog mainly exists as a way of tracking all the movies I've been watching and some of the initial thoughts and general feelings I've had about them.
Rating System
5/5 - Fantastic movies; movies which need to be seen and enjoyed by everyone.
4/5 - Movies which are very good but don’t have that spark which compels you to make others watch them as well.
3/5 - Average movies; watchable and enjoyable, but nothing which elevates them higher. The baseline all movies are given before watching.
2/5 - Can be watched but really bland and forgettable.
1/5 - Minimal to no reason to watch these films. It may have some redeeming factors e.g. it’s so bad it’s good or there’s one character that’s awesome enough to make it not a total waste of time.
0/5- Total waste of time. Nothing redeemable about these films.
As with every review blog/site, this is all my own personal opinion so feel free to take everything with a grain of salt.
Also I'm Scottish so all reviews will be in UK English. Get used to theatre, colour and words ending in -ised.

#339/#56 Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
(Rewatch)
When Average Joe’s gym is about to be foreclosed on by the bank and then destroyed by the neighbouring Globo-Gym, the owner Peter LeFleur (Vince Vaughn) and his band of misfit gym members come together to try and win a dodgeball championship for the money they need. Globo-Gym’s owner White Goodman (Ben Stiller) gets wind of this however, and competes in the tournament as well. Will Average Joe’s triumph or will Globo-Gym crush their last hopes?
When I initially saw the trailer for this I thought it looked like one of the stupidest movies that was going to come out that year. It turned out to be one of the funniest. It’s easily Vince Vaughn’s best comedic performance and it’s one of Ben Stiller’s best characters ever.
It’s one of those films where the comedy, the supporting cast, the physical humour and the story all just sync up perfectly and make for one hilariously awesome movie. It’s insanely quotable, has tonnes of great cameos and it’s just a good time whenever you sit down to watch it.
There must have been something about 2004 because both this and Anchorman came out that Summer and there hasn’t really been another really great comedy film in the same ilk to come along and topple either since. 5/5
