Hi all, this tumblr mainly exists as a way of tracking all the movies I've been watching and some of the initial thoughts, and general feelings, I've had about them.

5/5 - Fantastic movies; movies which need to be seen and enjoyed by everyone.

4/5 - Movies which are very good but don’t have that spark which compels you to make others watch them as well.

3/5 - Average movies; watchable and enjoyable, but nothing which elevates them higher. The baseline all movies are given before watching.

2/5 - Can be watched but really bland and forgettable.

1/5 - Minimal to no reason to watch these films. It may have some redeeming factors e.g. it’s so bad it’s good or there’s one character that’s awesome enough to make it not a total waste of time.

0/5- Total waste of time. Nothing redeemable about these films.

As with every review blog/site, this is all my own personal opinion so feel free to take everything with a grain of salt.

Also I'm Scottish so all reviews will be in UK English. Get used to theatre, colour and words ending in -ised.

#39 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
(Rewatch)
Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) has regained his power but the Ministry of Magic refused to accept this. As a result Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) must reform the Order of the Phoneix to combat him. Meanwhile Harry and his friends must return to Hogwarts for their 5th year under the watchful eye of Dolores Umbridge, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher and Ministry spy.
Order of the Phoenix is my second favourite of the Harry Potter books and I feel this film does it adequate justice. The last 20 minutes with the fights between the Death Eaters and Order Members, as well as Dumbledore Vs Voldemort, are just great to watch with some fantastic visuals. It’s everything you want from a wizard battle.
Imelda Staunton is just fantastic as Umbridge. Voldemort might have been the big bad of the series but Umbridge is probably the best villain (in my mind) and Staunton just does her to a tee.
The remaining returning cast perform to their usual high standards but Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith as Snape and McGonagall are always going to be highlights for me whenever they show up.
Good adaptation and good movie all round 4/5
